Our experienced sales team provides a full service, offering everything from merchandising and layout initiatives to product mix advice. Our team work hard to build long term relationships with our business partners, which is why you’ll find our brands in leading pharmacies and department stores in New Zealand, Australia, North America and the United Kingdom.

Our History


Jan Cunningham (nee Wood) creates her first hair accessory collection ‘The Vava’s’ on the dining room table of her parent’s house in Mt Wellington, Auckland.


Jan Wood Limited is incorporated, to develop and distribute accessories to New Zealand pharmacy.


Jan Wood Limited sells to UK company Cork International.


Son Tim Cunningham founds ‘VIA International’ to distribute the Via brand of professional hair tools to the salon industry.


Became the New Zealand distributor for QVS brand of beauty tools and accessories and launches the range to New Zealand pharmacy and department stores.


Awarded Life Pharmacy Supplier of the Year award for outstanding service and product.
Our Tender Love + Carry and Tough Love + Carry (TL+C) collection of New Zealand designed and developed cosmetic bags and toiletry kits, is launched to New Zealand pharmacy.


QVS beauty accessories become the number one selling beauty accessory brand in the New Zealand market.


Argania hair treatment oil is launched into the New Zealand market. TL+C launched into Australian market.


Tender Love + Carry becomes market leader of cosmetic bags in New Zealand. Acquire distribution rights for Every Man Jack (EMJ) range of grooming products.


Argania sold into Australian market. Argania and TL+C sold into UK with ranging including Boots, John Lewis, ASOS and Superdrug.


TL+C expands into North America, Canada and UK.
The company acquires distribution rights for Carmex and takes over Australian distribution rights for Every Man Jack. Drop Umbrellas launched into New Zealand pharmacy. Argania range expands into skincare and tan products.


We change our name to The Beauty Collective to encompass everything we do. Design, deliver, delight.
